Suggest Treatment For Delayed Ejaculation

default
Posted on Wed, 3 Sep 2014
Question: I asked another doctor here and he suggested I talk to a sexologist. Ever since starting this medication I have been having delayed orgasm/ejaculation and the fluid that comes out before orgasm/ejaculation is much more thin and watery than it was before. The doctor said I should tell you my sexual history to detail "behavioral changes during sex and/or masturbation. In which you can learn different methods to increase sensitivity of your penis and decrease threshold for ejaculation." How much of a detailed history do you need?
Also, the fluid that does come out during ejaculation can be very thick. Should I upload an image to show what I am referring to? It seemed to help on my last question.

Brief Answer:
Hi, strattera may lead to ejaculation problem.

Detailed Answer:
HI

I understand your concern at ejaculation problem.

I just want to know few points
like

How and when it started?
does it is occur in both masturbation and sex???

since how long you has been on straterra??

Is it present since beginning of treatment??
Delayed ejaculation means how much??
Is there absent ejaculation???
Does it occur every time??
Does it occur with specific partner?

Because after this i will able to judge properly about your problem.

Regarding fluid that have you mentioned that fluid come out before the ejaculation is prostatic fluid which is very thin in quality.

Fluid that come at the time of ejaculation is semen which is thick in quality as compare to prostatic fluid.
But it is not like one thumb rule it can be thin many a times.

So it is very normal phenomena and that thought will lead to anxiety which ultimate affect your sexual performance.

Kindly revert back with above mentioned points.

Happy to help you.
Thank you
Take care.

It started as soon as I started taking the medication. It does happen during masturbation and sex. Ive been taking strattera for a few months. Sometimes a lot of semen comes out during ejaculation but other times it does not come out at the time of orgasm but after. I notice it most during masturbation, when there is more fluid than normal coming out before orgasm and it is also more thin than it was before i was on strattera. is there a way to attach a picture to this reply?
I was able to attach a picture as well. You can see what i am referring to, when the semen that comes out during orgasm (when it does come out) is much more thick than it was before i was on this medication

Brief Answer:
Hi, most of the cases consistency does not matter.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear

I saw your pic.
It is quit normal ejaculation.

Change in consistency is depend upon the rate of semen formation.

So it keeps changing in every ejaculation.

Here I would like to say that consistency is not important at all.

What is important is pleasure and satisfaction from sex.
2nd thing is important presence of sperm in semen which is imp to be a father in future.

So do not think much about its consistency.
as I said it keeps changing according to its production. if thickness that were showmen in figure is without medicine than means it is normal.

If delayed ejaculation and soon started after medicine then change the dose or change in medicine is required.
consult your doctor and tell him about all this .

So no need to worry.
Just consult doctor and discuss this issue.
by changing in medicine will solve all of yours problems.

Always here to help you.
I wish you will get best.
Thank you.
Take care.
