Suggest Treatment For Dark Patches On Armpits, Legs, Abdomen And Chest
Question: I am getting dark spots in my body( inside arms, legs belly and chest) it has been spreading since last 6 months. I saw 2 different dermatologists and they are unable to find out what is going on with the spots. Also I noticed that I am getting too many bruises in my legs too. Which doctor should I see?

I tried 2 different dermatologist and they did biopsy and could not find anything. Also siphilys was negative
I did not have these spots before
Don't know if you are able to see pictures on my file, do not let me upload more than 2 pictures. I am not using any medication now, dermatologist gave me some antibiotics and cream and did not worked either

Thanks for writing back and uploading the pictures.
Yes i can see the pictures, as far as i can see these are old blackebed patichae ... search for "patichae" on google images and see if you think you have something like this?
They can start with red or brown sports which keep getting darker with time.. patients with these spots usually have bruises in their body.
This is just a sign/symptom ... this happens in many diseases... one has to diagnose and treat underlying disease to get rid of the rash.
For diagnosis and treatment of this problem you got to contact an Internist, an internal medical specialist can help you in my opinion.

as i already said, this is a sign not a disease, there are some diseases which cause patichae which do not come under speciality of haematologist, plus there are some hormonal diseases to consider as well,
So in my opinion an internist would be the first person you should visit ,
If he thinks you should visit a haematologist , then you can do that but I would prefer suggesting an internist visit for you.
Haematologist isn't the wrong option either but i'm just talking about prefered order.
