Suggest Treatment For Dark Discoloration Around The Lips
Question: Hi
I went for wax for my upper lips and chin facial hair. And just after that, i had facial. As a result of that, my skin almost turned dark around lips. Some dark patches are formed. M very worried. Please suggest what can I do. I am attaching a pic for reference.

I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photograph though it is not very clear.
After how many of waxing and facial did do develop this pigmentation?
In such cases I recommend my patients to use depigmenting creams containing a combination of mometasone, tretinoin and hydroquinone on the dark spots at night along with application of a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day time on the entire face.
Various brands containing this combination are available in the market but they should be used under the strict supervision of the doctor and for short periods of time only.
This will help in lightening of your pigmentation.
