Suggest Treatment For Dandruff In A Child

Question: Hello Doctor,
My 3.5 year old daughter has dandruff problem which worsens in summer (due to hot and humid weather (sweating) in Mumbai). Our doctor has suggested Arcolane scalp solution but it is not effective enough. To add to the woes, my daughter does not have dense hair and strong shampoos lead to hair fall. Could you please suggest some remedy/ better medicine given above circumstances?

l would like to rule out other causes of flaking on scalp.

Thanks for the follow up and photograph.
The scalp is looking clear.
Arcolane contains ketoconazole which can dry and damage hair.
You can use noskurff lotion for your child.
It contains ciclopirox which is a milder antifungal.
This is to be applied on alternate nights and washed off in morning.
This should help her.
