Hello Dr S.Senthilnathan,

I will be purchasing herbal medicine Kapikacchu (Mucuna Pruriens ).I have looked at the description of the product and it talks about elevation of sperm count, improving fertility etc. but does not say anything on repairing ligaments.

Will Kapikacchu really work, i need to get the right one as it will take 3-4 months as mentioned by you to heal, any valuable time lost will be devastating. Please just a clarification on this .

Thanks

Brief Answer:
kapikacchu got many health benefits

Detailed Answer:
hai,
As in ayurveda we use one single drug for multiple disease. so each drug got multiple medicinal value.depends on the physician choice it will vary.

Proven Benefits of Mucuna pruriens powder:

1. Supports a healthy central & peripheral nervous system
2. Maximizes the body’s ability to handle stress
3. it is a very building herb, one that promotes muscle mass,  It has an affinity for
all of the tissues in the body,
4.It stimulate surface blood flow in conditions that involves tissue injury .
5.Is a natural source of levodopa(neurotransmitter)
6. Supports physical balance & posture
7. Promotes healthy motor skills & coordination
8. Improves energy & endurance
9. Bolsters libido

Kapikacchu (Mucuna Pruriens ) is used for mostly erectile dysfunction and parkinson disease and some neuro degenerative condition. drug dosage differs on each indication.

so you can confidently take kapikacchu.

one important thing: kapikacchu got a adverse effects of generalized itching. if you get the problem after taking the medicine you can withdraw the drug. once you stop taking it will settle on it own.

No other side effects have not been reported till date.

hope i answered your query.kindly get back to me for any clarification.

Thanks and regards
Dr.S.Senthilnathan

Hi Dr. Senthilnathan Subramanian,

I went to the Himalaya company site to purchase the product unfortunately my firefox does not allow the transaction to take place because the line is not secure. The fear of revealing my credentials to a third party.Another issue is that the company is asking for ZIP code(Mandatory) which we dont have in our Country FIJI.

Any suggestions you can provide on this.I know its nothing to do with medical but when i try to send my feedback to the company again it does not go through because of ZIP COde and unsecure line.

Thanks
