Question: Of someone has a beneign sist and it is 4" i n diameter on his shoulder which is causing pain can an MRI be ordered for him ? Also what kind of doctor should he see?

I am so sorry to hear about cyst that you have reported. MRI is for diagnostic purposes and with the diagnosis already established, there would not be a reason for this test at this time. Seen the fact that he is having pains, I will suggest that you get this cyst probably treated through excision. I will recommend that he sees an orthopedist doctor if this cyst has connection with the joint.
