Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Ovaries And Hair Loss

Question: hi my daughter (18) has cysts on her ovaries - hair loss- male pattern- acne. Did ultrasound- dr. advised BCP Loestrin FE- or Yaz or Ortho tri cyclen lo- looked up side effects- very confusing- want to make sure I make the right decision for her- can you kindly advise?

For polycystic ovaries it is best to take a birth control pill to regularize the periods. At her age it is best to take a low hormonal pill. For PCOD, Yaz or orthotricyclen is the best choice. The side effect profile of all these is also similar. If I were to choose the best one then I would prefer Yaz as it will help in acne and hair loss too.
