Brief Answer:
GERD;oscillations in blood pressure/sugar levels....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

1. Chronic burning chest is indicative for possible GERD. I am happy that upper endoscopy did not resulted any lesion. Prisolec/nexium appertain to PPIs drug group that will reduce stomach acidity.

2. Taking into account your age (pre/menopause), hormonal changes should be considered too.

3. Passing out while sitting at a table is suggestive for possible oscillation in blood pressure (bp) and sugar levels (bs). I advise to keep monitoring your bp and bs.

Doppler ultrasound of
- neck blood vessels
- chest and abdominal aorta
- legs' blood vessels

is recommended to exclude related problems.

4. Oscillations in bs (hypoglycemia) is advised especially if you are following a specific diet for burning chest.

I advise to:
- take antacids when having burning chest
- increase water intake
- try to be more physically active, avoid staying in sitting position for long period

All the best!
