Question: my period came late and only last for 2 days ( 03/07 & 03/08) and today I have very bad cramps. what can this be?

First of all, you should undergo one home pregnancy test (if NOT done previously) to clear your confusion regarding pregnancy.

Hormonal imbalance, over weight, pelvic infection, uterine fibroid or endometriosis can cause above clinical features. Exact underlying cause should be ruled out in proper way.

I suggest to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan and complete hormonal profile to confirm the diagnosis. You should visit to your gynecologist for physical examination and above mentioned investigations.
