Suggest Treatment For Cough With Green Phlegm In Throat
Question: hello i have been on here quite a few times for a genery enquiry about my health. i have been and seen my doctor as well and im still having trouble.
i had pneumonia a bit longer than a month ago haemopholus influenzae. was put on antibiotics and had a broncoscopy as the infection was throughout both lungs but i only had oneumonia in the lower right lobe and collapsed left. all antibiotics werr taken. i then got a sore throat and a rash om my legs that was diognosed as erythema nodosum. it has cleared. now i am still coughing but not alot and i have blocked sinuses and have clear/ehite and green phlem i am coughing up small amounts of pale green phlem and the green white and clear is coming from my nose. should i be concerend this is still pneumonia. i dont feel out of breathe or unwell. amd the weather is cold here so i was thinking just a sinus infection my doctor doesnt want me to start anymore antibiotics.

Pneumonia actually causes inflammatory changes in lungs. So it quite normal to see coughing with phlegm after completing antibiotic for pneumonia.
No need for antibiotics at present.
You should take combination of antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs for this cough and phlegm.
