Brief Answer:
Use mucolytic with steam and bronchodilator

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.

You are having cough which is not responding to regular routine measures and along with that you are having nasal congestion and irritation throat.

Your previous history says that you were prescribed deriphyllin last time you went to doctor. This points to some element of constriction in your breathing channels in lungs.

Other than this, congested nose is many a times associated with post nasal drip and this can be a cause of throat irritation.

Considering all these points, I would like to suggest you to use a mucolytic like bromhexine (8 mg TDS/QID) or ambroxal (75 mg OD) along with nasal decongestant drops like Xylometazoline (Otrivin 2 drops TDS) and steam inhalation. Do take a cough syrup with mucolytic and bronchodilator (2 TSF tds) in addition to above and a proton pump inhibitor once daily. Your local doctor can prescribe the drugs easily.

In case the problem persists, you need to see an ENT and need for an inhaler is to assessed.

Meanwhile dietary restrictions you are already following.
