Brief Answer:
Meftal can be given at an interval of 8 hours

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Meftal contains mefenemic acid and the total daily dose should not exceed 25 mg/kg. So in a dose of 8 mg/kg can be repeated at 8 hours.
You can give paracetamol as the total dose per day is 60 mg/kg and it can be given at 4 hour interval with dose of 10 mg/kg.
Do tepid sponging to bring down the temperature.
You can give 6 ml of mefenemic acid(100 mg/5ml) at 8 hours interval and 7 ml of paracetamol(120 mg/5ml) at 4 hour interval.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards
