Brief Answer:
Lifestyle and dietary suggestions.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic. Constipation is a common problem and there are several lifestyle and dietary changes that will improve your condition.
Try to eat plenty of fibre. This includes fruit, vegetables, wholegrain rice, wholewheat pasta, wholemeal bread, seeds, nuts and oats. Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine, alcohol and fizzy drinks. Regular exercise will also help.
If these measures do not relieve your constipation, I suggest you try laxatives which can be bought from your pharmacist.
I hope this is of help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
