Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for additional information.

1) Following suggestive measures will be helpful for pregnancy induced constipation:

- Eat high-fiber foods such as whole-grain cereals and breads, brown rice, beans, and fresh fruits and vegetables every day.

- Drink plenty of water – at least six to eight glasses a day. A glass of fruit juice every day, especially prune juice, can also be helpful. Some find that drinking a warm liquid right after waking up helps get things moving.

- Light exercise regularly like Walking, yoga can help to ease constipation and leave her feeling more fit and healthy.

- Bowels are most likely to be active after meals, so make time to use the bathroom after eating some food. Never put off going to the bathroom when she feels the urge.

- If she is taking prenatal multivitamin contains a large dose of iron (and she is NOT anemic), ask her doctor about switching to a supplement with less iron.

- If above measures don't help much, then consult with doctor for prescription regarding over-the-counter fiber supplement (like FYBOGEL) or stool softener.

2) For heel pain, she can use muscle relaxant gel, wear proper shoe, avoid high heel, take hot water bag compression and visit to her doctor for examination.

Hope, It helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish her good health and take care yourself.

Dr Soumen
