Brief Answer:
Take OTC pain killer with antacid.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

I have read your query,

Headache and gas are completely different entity from which gas trouble is mostly caused by eating oily/spicy foods or stress or indigestion,

whereas headache (simple or tension headache) is caused by some precipitating or triggering factor (like heavy sunlight exposure, sleep deprivation, wrong or uncomfortable posture, eye strains, stress, long working hours in one position etc.) which is relieved by OTC analgesics (Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, Diclofenac) and eliminating this triggering factor.

There is no direct relation between headache and gas trouble but as per my clinical experience,I have seen many patients complaining of headache whenever they have gastric trouble or gas formation or bloating.

Take OTC pain killer which suits you (like Ibuprofen 400 or Paracetamol 500) and take bed rest along antacid (like Pantoprazole 40 or Rabeprazole 20) for gas trouble.

Try to avoid contact with triggering factor if any of from above.

You can also take Digene gel or liquid 2TSF two times daily.

Apart from medications, some dietary precautions will also be helpful.

1) eat plain foods like boiled rice and green leafy vegetables without adding spices or oil.

2) avoid oily, spicy and fast foods

3) avoid eating full stomach at a time, rather have small meals frequently.

4) drink coconut water will help to reduce burning if you have.

5) eat lots of fruits like banana and watermelon.

6) avoid excess tea and coffee.

7) eat or drink buttermilk and yogurt twice daily.

8) chew ginger which releases stomach gases. If more stomach bloats a lot then you will also need tab.gas-X which will help to minimize gas production.

9) do morning exercises like walking or jogging which will reduce your stress level.

Thanks and Regards,
