Brief Answer:
Pink eye

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Burning blood shot red eyes with fever and headache is likely a conjunctivitis also called pick eye with blepharitis. It could be viral, bacterial or allergic.

It needs combination of antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications and a consult to an ophthalmologist to sort out underlying cause. Meanwhile warm compresses, regular and frequent eye washing with tepid water and gentle drying with towel etc should help.

Talk to an ophthalmologist at an earliest convenience and continue the tylenol too.

I hope it helps. Take good care of your daughter and yourself and please don't forget to close the discussion.

Regards
Khan

I have chapped eyelids and peeling of the skin on the upper bridge of my nose. Before, i had a swollen, raw area of skin underneath my eye. I had assumed Blepharitis but i have not worn make-up in over a month and the raw, chapped part is on the crease of my eye and not where the hair follicles are located. What is this and what should i do about it?

I woke up this morning with a purple upper eyelid. It begins in the corner of the eye and covers about 1/4 of the upper lid. It looks like purple makeup. The lid doesn t hurt, is not swollen, and I have no itching. I have had a problem with Blepharitis. Could it be related to this or is it dermamytositis? Or perhaps allergy or just common bruising?

hello ive been told i had blepharitis in my eye. i cant wear my contacts even though they say it isnt a serious case. i went to the doctor on september 1st and the doctor placed me on azasite for seven days and tobradex for ten days. after completion of both of these it still isnt better. i went back to the doctor again september 13th and was told i needed to use an antibiotic for three months is this safe and ive been using it for nearly two weeks and still no positive results with the redness in my eyes. is there anything else you can recomend or maybe trying something diffrent. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
