Suggest Treatment For Complicated Surgical Wound Infection Of The Scalp
Question: My son was diagnosed with an e coli infection in his scalp about a year ago. Since then he's had it cut open 3 times, drained, packed and has been on a collective months of antibiotics. The last time opened it up they left it open and told me I had to pack it twice a day with this special packing I was given. He's been through a lot and I really don't want that to be the only answer they can seem to come up with. Do you have any suggestions?

I apologize. I did not explain corrrctly. The wound has been closed for a few months. Recently the pussy sores and swelling are returning. I do not want them to cut it open again. Are there any suggested treatments that do not involve reopening his head for a 4th time?
