Dear XXXX
Majority of Respiratory tract infection in babies are self limiting. They are viral in origin and require supportive symptomatic treatment.
I would suggest you the following
1. Solvincold AF drops 1 ml thrice a day
2. Steam inhalation : Preferably using electronic steamer. Maintain safe distance from baby . Hot and humid air will help relieve congestion
3. Normal Saline Nasal drops : 3 to 4 drops in each nose 4 to 6 times a day. It will maintain the moisture of nasal cavity and help relieve blockage.
4. Decoction : 1 cup of milk +2 spoon sugar + 1/2 spoon turmeric + 20 Tulsi leaves. Bring it to boil. Filter it and feed baby warm ththrice a day
5. If there is fever above 38.6 then Paracetamol drops cam be given
