Brief Answer:
supraspinatus tendinitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.

I have gone through your medical history in detail.

Its great to hear that you are very healthy and active in your life.

From the symptoms,it seems that you have supraspinatus tendinitis or subacromial bursitis of shoulder joint which has been causing increasing pain over the years.

If it was a ligament injury, and if the pain medicines are not helping, then i suggest you to get an MRI done.

A local steroid injection shot in the painful area will help reduce the inflammation to a large extent.

Physiotherapy with laser therapy or short wave diathermy with shoulder strengthening exercises will help.

If,on MRI,there are adhesions around the shoulder joint, then arthoscopic decompression of the joint will provide much relief.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any doubts that you may have.

Thank you.
Kind regards.
