Question: I have chronic neck pain . bulging discs . some days , no pain. when strain my neck , I will have a flare up that is almost intolerable. and i get nauseated. Is nausea with neck pain normal?

I have reviewed your symptoms fully. However, you seem not to have more potent medications for your pain. You may request for more potent medications if you think the pain is not well controlled.

Nausea is non specific an accompanies severe pain in most instances. This is no way suggest another disease process but shows the ramifications surrounding intense pain.

With the neck pain pretty bad and almost constant, it might be nice to consult a neurosurgeon to see whether there are any possible permanent fixes to the bulging discs responsible for this.
