Suggest Treatment For Cholestasis During 34 Weeks Of Pregnancy

Question: I am 34 week pregnant and i am suffering from cholestasis. My liver enzymes have increased drastically in 2 weeks.
I am currently on udiliv 300mg twice a day but my itching has not reduced at all.
Is my reading too high and does it pose danger to my baby

Hello and welcome to health care magic forum. thanks for writing in to us with your query. continue Udiliv. you can take Levocetrizine tablet 5 mg two times a day. apply Lactocalamine lotion. Your liver enzymes are raised but they are not harmful to the baby. Keep count of the fetal movement. Repeat the liver enzyme test after one week. regards Dr Manisha Jain.

I am taking cetrizine tablet 10mg once a day but no relief.
Lactocalamine lotion also does not help

Is cetrizine (okacet 10 mg which i am taking) different from levocitrizine which you have prescribed?

No dear both tablets are same.
In case of no relief them take tablet hydroxizine (Atarax tablet) 10 mg at night and lactocalamine
