Question: hello I was wondering if a tested negative for hiv, but positive for chlamydia can my results for hiv in any way be wrong ? or one virus has nothing to do with the other ?

thank you doctor, I have 11 negative rapid blood tests for hiv after 6 months, but I was wondering about chlymadia . I think hiv is no longer my concern

Doctor I had one more test today, I now have 12 negatives results, I think I should reach out for help, have you seen before a patient such as my self ?

I am basically a Venereologist since 1981. I am handling HIV patients for the last 28 years. I had come across 2-3 thousands of cases of HIV during these years. I had come across many cases of HIV along with other STDs like Syphilis, Genital warts, Genital Herpes, Molluscum Contageosum, Hepatitis B etc. But in our place, we don't have much facilities to identify Chlamydia infection. But I am sure many of my patients would also have Chlamydial infections also, but went unidentified or sometimes treated as presumptive Chlamydial infection.
Moreover I had also seen patients not believing their results and also our words and going on testing for HIV themselves for years together.
