Question: I have been taking acid reflux medications and I think it is causing me to have chills and the shakes. I don't have a temperature and when I lay down and put a blankover me, it calms down.

Hello and thank you for your question.
It is possible that you are having a side effect from the medicine. The best way to find out is to stop it and see if the symptom goes away.
It is also possible that you have some sort of infection going on but just do not have a fever. Consider seeing your doctor soon for an exam and some blood tests if this does not clear up soon.
Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and getting plenty of sleep at night.
Eat healthy foods.
To decrease you chance of reflux, eat small meals, avoid alcohol and tobacco, do not eat within 3 hours of going to bed.
