Brief Answer:
Painful upper chest

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Pain predominantly on the left side should be evaluated. I am happy you have got a chest x ray done and it normal. However I strongly recommend you to get a EKG done as soon as possible to rule out cardiac involvement.

For now I recommend you to do the following

1. Tab Acetaminophen 3 times a day for 5 day will reduce the pain. You can also apply diclofenac gel over the area for symptomatic relief
2. If your muscles feel sore to touch apply cold packs on for 15-20 min three times a day
3. Do not exert or lift heavy weights until you are better

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
