Brief Answer:
Very low possibility of having a heart issue

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through the medical details provided by you carefully and considering your age and all the medical tests and procedures you have gone through and as you are also physically an active person so the chances of having a heart disease are less than 1%.

The chest discomfort looks me of an psychological to me. However if you want to be sure then you have to go through angiography. It's a very safe procedure nothing to be afraid of it.

In my opinion you should go through this test to be 100% sure and to be mentally satisfied.

If you bp and other parameters are fine and if you don't smoke there is no need to take medicines at this age group.

Why don't you try simple pain killer to see if they help to relieve your pain as this will also make sure that it's not a heart pain.

Also it's advisable to consult personally a Gastroenterologist to evaluate for any peptic ulcer disease as this could also cause constant chest discomfort.

Hope to be helpful. If you have any more doubts you can ask me back or else you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.

Kind regards

Some times come stronger and some time smaller and i was concern to have a heart attack . i took propranolol 20 mg and the pain is gone but i still have the pressure in heart area and now have twitching or tension in the heart area .and i feel very discomfortable as the pain comes and goes.Do i need to take propranolol 20 mg regularly or only when i need it? . the primary doctor sent me to cardiologist not to Gastroenterologist.

I read about angiography and have some risks like stroke and heart attack that's and this link a guy mention that angiography can kill you , please see the link and let me know

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
I will try to answer your questions one by one

1. First of all let's talk about your blood pressure, as you said you just starting taking bp meds 2 months backs so it's advisable that as you are a young guy your Bp can be very well controlled with diet and exercise modifications XXXXXXX going for a brisk morning walk for 45 mins a day for 5 days a week, exercise daily and eating a healthy diet by avoiding junk food, reducing the daily salt intake, avoiding smoking completely if you do. Follow this routine strictly for 3 months and then maintain it. Slowly you are not gonna need any meds to control bp once you start following this routine.

2. Take propranolol only when required and yes your doctor is right that propranolol is safe in long term than ativan.

3. I told to see Gastroenterologist only after your cardiologist rules out any kind of cardiac issue. Primary importance is to cardiologist only.

4. I have seen that you tube video the link which you gave me that guy I right in the saying that our diet is not good if we eat healthy we will stay fit. But he is incorrect saying that Angiography itself causes an attack. Look every diagnostic procedure do have its own minor risks attached to it and we have to compare risk benefit ratio between them. Without angiography we are not going to know whether your chest pain is because of any heart problem or not. So choice is your, doctor can only suggest and guide.

5. Turmeric should not be combined with aspirin as it increase the effect of Aspirin which can cause a bleed.

I hope I have answered your questions in a simple way and this will guide you properly. If you have any more doubts you can ask me back or else you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.

Brief Answer:
Yes they can be stopped.....

Detailed Answer:
Hello Again

At a young age with slightly high blood pressure, if a person maintain good lifestyle habits along with medicines, slowly BP medicines can be taken off. No Its not gonna cause you any heart attack.

No blood pressure medicines should not be supplemented with any other thing.

As i told earlier turmeric and aspirin should not be taken together as they have interactions.

Your problem is not a cardiac issue, so you can avoid angiography if you dont want to do it.

Hope to be helpful

Thank you very much for quick respond
I mean can i stop blood pressure medicine and control blood pressure by the supplement because they don't have side effect as drugs do.

My blood pressure was high for one month and i didn't have any discomfort in the chest or in the heart. but after i started blood pressure medicine i noticed the chest pain ? Is it possible the chest discomfort from blood pressure medication because the cardiologist at first said from the medicine and he changed it from lisinopril 40 mg to amaldopine 5 mg but i still have the same chest discomfort.
How did you know the discomfort that i have is not cardiac issue because i watched this tube video and mention the person has normal EKG and stress test and he got heart attack. please see it and let me know if i have the same case

Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
No it's not advisable to stop Bp medicines suddenly or to replace them with some supplements.

No Bp meds do not cause chest pain rather they relieve it.

I never said that am 100 % sure that you don't have any heart issue. I rather told you that to be 100 % sure you should undergo Angiogram. But again you don't want that.

One serious advice don't treat yourself with help of internet you will be misguided.
