Brief Answer:
Oral muscle relaxants can help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
There is no cure for cervical dystonia. The disorder sometimes resolves without treatment, but sustained remissions are uncommon. Injecting botulinum toxin into the affected muscles often reduces the signs and symptoms of cervical dystonia. Surgery may be appropriate in a few cases when all the conservative treatment fails.
Till then for symptomatic relief instead of taking too many pain killers it is best to take an oral muscle relaxant and do a hot compress.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
