Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and clear picture
Noted the history of warm, painful and infected leg - blood keeps coming out fr 2 days now - scared about infection going into blood - keeps it clean - the red area on skin is harder than a rock ...

My thoughts after reading your history and seeing the picture:
This is a case of cellulitis with hardness, a small leaking wound. In such a case the chance of infection turning into a XXXXXXX abscess is too much as is the chance of spreading the infection into the blood causing further complications.
Hence it is imperative to get a proper antibiotic cover and anti-inflammatory medication as soon as possible.
Clean the skin with Solution Povidone Iodine all over the affected area and the leg to keep the skin sterile and avoid further infection from outside as you have a open would too.
Do not press hard or try to pop as it would worsen the situation.
Get an opinion of a General Surgeon, helps for best assessment and get the tests of blood, and ultrasound of the area to see if there is an abscess development. If positive you may need a formal incision and drainage to get a proper cure.

I hope this answer clears your doubts, helps you to get the perfect diagnosis and get a plan for proper management.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

The stage your problem is is an acute and need to take proper antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
