Brief Answer:
Multiple causes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
There could be many causes for canker sores like vitamin B12 deficiency. Stress, low immunity, sharp tooth.
I recommend the following.
1) Avoid smoking, spicy food.
2) Adequate sleep and rest.
3) Vitamin supplements : Vitamin B complex.
4) Local anesthetic and steroid based mouth gel.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
