Brief Answer:
Do antifungal sensitivity and take treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello , I understand your concern. I am Dr. Arun Tank & I am infectious disease specialist. I am going to answer your concern.

- I want to ask you a question whether this candida infection is diagnosis of doctor or it is the diagnosis by laboratory reports.?

-I advice you to undergo Gram's Staining from the infected part. Also do sensitivity testing for the fungus (Anti-fungal testing).

-Some species of candida like candida krusei are inherently resistant to fluconazole which in your case had been prescribed to you and you are not responding to it. Once the sensitivity in your hand you can opt for the drug which is sensitive to you. Believe me you will be free from the infection in few days.

-Also carry out cause for underlying illness like diabetes, HIV, prolong antibiotic etc. Maintain the local hygiene by cleanliness and regular dressing.

If you have anything else to ask I will be very happy to answer that. We wish you a best health at healthcare magic.
Thank you,
Dr. Arun Tank
