Suggest Treatment For Cancerous Tumors In Breasts

default
Posted on Mon, 22 Jun 2015
Question: Hi I have cancer and unfortunately it seems to be in advanced stage. It started with breast but since I didn't really pay attention. Now from a few days back I'm feeling dizzy all the time also I'm very tensed. I will start with the tests and medications very soon but I'm not very hopeful. I cant sleep well and keep cursing myself for being negligent. What should be the most correct course of action at the moment. Also if you could give other pieces of advice. Please reply. Very tensed and scared

Also I'm 22 right now and was very young when probably the first symptoms appeared. At the moment I have about 2.5 cm tumour in both the breasts and also very recently discovered a hard thing behind my right year. But till about a week ago I didn't feel any sort of discomfort in any form pain ,etc. Which is also a cause of negligence apart from financial reasons. If I start the treatment now in a few days how much hope do I have of survival and also what all medical procedures could be involved apart from chemotherapy.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
pet scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I woud advise you to determine the stage of breast cancer by doing a pet scan first.

If diagnosed at an eary stage surgery and radiotherapy are other treatment option apart from chemotherapy. If treated in early stage then there is 75% chance of survival

Brief Answer:
Scan of whole body

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Pet scan is an imaging procedure which is more powerful in detecting cancerous changes in the body than ct scan

It will scan your whole body and determine which stage of breast cancer you are in

If the tumour has spread to your brain then it may cause dizziness

I would advise you to do a mri brain along with a pet scan
