Question: Hi Doc,

I have developed some dead skin on the foot thumb as in attached pictures. I tried to remove this dead skin using dead skin peeler.

That time the skin in that area became normal but in couple of days it again developed dead skin in the same area.

Since the i have removed the dead skin N number of times but dead skin again appears in couple of days.

Could yo please suggest some creams or medicine to get rid of this dead skin.

Please see attached images.

Thanks,

xxxxxxxx

Brief Answer:
Looks like a callosity, apply keratolytic & moisturising cream

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photograph and it looks like a callosity.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply a keratolytic and moisturising cream on the affected area.
Various brands like xerina cream and moisturex cream are available in the market.
You can use either of the above twice daily on the affected area twice daily for 3-4 weeks.

Dr Asmeet
