Brief Answer:
Please upload the Xray.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam.
Calcification in aorta or any other vessel cannot be treated and does not require any treatment as well. It happens with age and degeneration.
What would require treatment is if the aorta is aneurysmal. This can be found out by an Ultrasound of the abdomen. You can get that done and let us know.
Or upload the Xray for us to see and then I would be able to tell whether anything need be done.
Is there any pain in abdomen, back, hips or lower limbs?
Do let us know.
Take care,

Brief Answer:
Treatment is required for aneurysms of size 5.5cm or more

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam.
Since you don't have pain, there is no suspicion of stenosis or obstruction in the Aorta.
If there is calcification along with an Aneurysm of the Aorta then treatment is indicated if the maximum transverse size of Aorta is more than 5.5cm. In aneurysms of less than that size, observation is advised with 6 monthly Ultrasounds. A screening CT angiography is required to begin with.
Treatment can be done by open aneurysm repair but nowadays we do it with minimal access Endovascular repair by putting stent grafts.
Only by seeing your XRay or Ultrasound can I know whether there is an aneurysm.
If you need further advice please upload your reports.
Take care.
