Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation While Urination
Question: Hi: I had burning with urination and went to a general practitioner who ordered a urine test along with prescriptions for Urispas and Meftal Spas for a three-day course. The results of the urine test are as follows:
Urine Complete Analysis
Colour - Pale Yellow
Appearance - Clear
Ph - 6.0
Specific Gravity - 1.020
Albumin - Nil
Glucose - Nil
Bile Salt - Absent
Bile pigment - Negative
Urobilinogen - Normal
Nitrate - Negative
Ketone Bodies - Absent
Deposits
Pus cells - 2-3/HPF
Epithelial Cells - 3-4/HPF
RBC - Nil/HPF
Casts - Nil/HPF
Crystals - Nil/HPF
Others - Nil/HPF
The symptoms improved after taking the medications but upon completion I still have frequency/a little bit of burning, though not as severe. I could not get an appointment with the urologist for the next few days (appointment for Saturday). Can you please interpret the above urinalysis? Do I have any acute condition that needs to treated such as AKD?

Epithelial cells are also commonly found in urine.
Other findings are also within normal limit.

Ultrasound of KUB region should also be done.It will screen KUB region.
Your condition is not serious at all.You should take plenty of fluids.You will be alright.
