Posted on Tue, 29 Sep 2015
Question: I am having burning sensation on my feets and a bit of pain near the heels.
I also feel a bit a pain on my finger tips(Left thumb and index finger).
I don't have any medical history. I did consult a local Doctor and he gave me some Calcium tablets. After I stopped using them the pain's coming back specially the feet.
I also had my sugar level tested after breakfast. It was 84.

Brief Answer:
Can be plantar fasciitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in heels and feet can be due to a condition called plantar fasciitis. Its one of the commonest reason for heel pain. Pain in morning and improvement on walking for some time is its classical presentation. The initial treatment with anti inflammatory medicines with rest and cold fomentation works fine for most of the patients.
The best thing you can do is when you wake up in the morning, before getting out of bed and taking a step, give yourself a little foot rub.
There are many things you can try to help your feet get better:

Give your feet a rest. Cut back on activities that make your feet hurt. Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces.
Use shoes with good arch support and a cushioned sole.
The pain in finger tips can be due to overuse or a vitamin B 12 or vitamin D3 deficiency. You can start taking a multivitamin supplement regularly and in case the pain is persistent do consult an orthopedician for a physical examination.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
