Brief Answer:
Vaginal atrophy due to hormonal changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I will answer your questions as you asked.
1. Vaginal dryness and burning sensation is most likely due to vaginal atrophy which is due to estrogen hormone deficiency due to age and uterus removal. Bacterial infection can be superimposed, but this bacteria in gram stain seems to be the normal bacteria present in the vagina and not pathological.
A vaginal swab culture is must to diagnose the type of infection.
2.Steroids can be taken for short term relief, and not for long term.
3.Ice therapy will not help.
No, it is unlikely to be dangerous illness.
It is common in post menopausal and post hysterectomy females.
She can use estrogen cream for relief.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
