Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation And Dry Skin In The Genitals

Question: For quite some time now my scrotum skin doesn't seem right. At times the skin changes to relatively normal and smooth, however most of the time and definitely when I'm trying to have sexual inter course it is bumpy and if the skin is touched or rubbed it can at times burn and the burning sensation feels as though it's going really deep and then slowly fades away.

Accompanied by the scrotum issue, my pubic hair above the penis, around penile shaft and scrotum is very strange I have two thick hairs coming out of what seems like one follicle & then patches of hair missing all over & the hair that's there doesn't grow! Maybe 1-1.5cm and then that's it.

Today I used some hair removal cream and shaver to clean the area up. & suddenly at the base of my penis it was a tiny circle piece of skin missing and slight bleeding started. Also the scrotum got some tinny Leison like sores that sting & burn when irritated.

At the base of the penis today I noticed some air bubble like bumps, they were painless but if touched they moved side to side, it was as if they were filled with air literally!

My skin seems very dry and shiny all around groin and on penis. Also at times it does smell a little foul...

I have been tested for STDs recently and everything was negative.

Also my libido is non existent for quite some time now, I am not sure if it is due to the aniexty of my problems or if they r connected. During intercourse my partner tells me around my penis ( base & scrotum ) area is burning hot, like it makes her vagina burn! We literally are unable to have sex.

Brief Answer:
Scrotal skin irritation

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on the images you uploaded, I find no gross abnormality with the scrotal skin. The skin appears normal. The lesions present are miniscule and appear to be related to the cuts while shaving off the hair.

The bumps you mentioned are likely due to the sebaceous fluid filled small cysts which can be present in the area of the penile shaft.

I would advise applying local calamine lotion for irritation/ burning and petroleum jelly to prevent dryness and cracking up of the skin. For the small areas that are open apply local Neosporin (Triple antibiotic ointment typically used as part of first aid).

The burning could have been related to the partners vaginal tract. Its not necessary that the bare area on your genital was the cause.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
