I would like to gather more information from you

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have taken note of your query and I have also reviewed the Image.

I would like to clarify a few things regarding your query.

-Do you feel any pain at ankle joints/over swelling?

-Do you have a history of hypertension/ raised BP?

-Do you have any other symptom like fever?

-Do you have any other co-morbid conditions?Or are on any treatment already?

I can see that you have a dry, scaly patch of skin on the inner side of right sole. Do you have any patches elsewhere?

Regards

The reason for fluid retention could be varied. Anemia and electrolyte imbalance being well known causes..

I have been standing this past weekend for a long period of time and it's tax season for me so I sit most of the day. do you think it can be from that? I just need peace of mind to know that it will be fine and I don't need to go to the ER right now and can wait to see and doctor.

Brief Answer:
Follow general measures for now

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Just follow the general measures for now...
Don't stand for extended periods,
have the foot end of your bed slightly elevated Or use a pillow under feet,
use compression stocking, eat a low salt diet.
Get a BP check and if it normal no need for an ER.
Continue with your Iron supplement.

Follow these general measures for the next 2-3 days and see how it goes.
May visit a doctor if these don't help Or if the condition worsens.

Regards
