Suggest Treatment For Bruise On Leg With A Knot In The Middle

Question: I have a bruise that apprard ony leg with no history (or memory) of injury. I did wear some very badly supporting heeled boots all day yesterday - could this be a stress fracture pr shin splint. Im really also concerned about a blood clot or something. I do get over worried about stuff and expect the worse. The bruise has a KNOT in the middle of it, righ in te bone. I did notice some tingling jn that foot last night but that happens with anxiety sometimes and could be unrelated.

1.Is the lesion is warm and tender to touch ?
2.Any fever?
Going by the picture and your description it looks to be healing phase of bruise following a trauma.
It is a non serious condition and mostly heal with time.It is not a blood clot or shin splint .

The area is warm and is tender to the touch. I do not have a fever.

In the light of fresh information ,it is a skin infection and will heal by taking few days course of antibiotics like augmentin and ibuprofen.Get them prescribed by your doctor.A dressing of ointment (sumeg ) will help.Your local pharmacist might know about it.
