Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis And Blood While Coughing
Question: I had bronchitis before and hard to breath I am using neubulizer , and I had breathing test and it is fine...the other told I had Copd,,, when I visited the hospital I got xray and it was cleared and I do not have pnenomia or infectious. , but yesterday when I tired to cough I saw some blood for I was in prescripton in getting rid of phlegm I taking predisone,,,but a little blood only, for I do not cough anymore but still spliiting maybe because of the medication ,,, I just like to know what is it,,, by the way I was working in the nursing home and we had test for tb and I do not have it last 2012.

1. no stomach burn but one of the side affect of my med says will loss appetite and sometimes something like that block my stomach t seems that I can't fart.
2.no more cough already but I am taking medication to get rid of enflamed.

I am sorry for inconvenience but when we feel there is some deficiency of information and we can not guide you in best of your benefit , we ask further questions to make things clear and rule out certain possibilities.

I have read you response to my questions and re-read your history and symptoms again I will try to give you a comprehensive answer now.
You suspected that stuff is coming out of your sinuses,
I will now give you an account of how sinus infections manifest.
1) You might feel head aches.
2) Pressure in forehead cheeks.
3) If your head level goes down pressure in head increases and head starts pounding.
4) There is a history of flu, cough and nasal congestion with that.
5) Body aches, tiredness may be there.
If you feel these symptoms it might be from your sinuses.
You can do following things to control it.
1) Steam inhalation.
2) Warm compresses on pressure areas.
3) Oral decongestants like Allegra-D
4) Anti histamin.
5) ENT consult if it doesn't get better.
Now I come to the blood you say in phlegm.
In my opinion following is the reason of bleed.
There can be some local tear in throat which could be because of shouting much or infection you had, there are common things after infections which cause throat irritation coughing and inflammation.
You are taking meds when inflammation settles this bleeding will also go.
SUGGESTIONS:
1) Don't drink or eat any irritant food like sour foods, spicy junk, fizzy drinks coffee tea.
2) Don;t drink hot drinks.
3) Avoid using Brufen you can use Tylenol in pain.
4) Keep taking your meds for inflammation as inflammation settles these small problems will settle too.
5) Don't shout at your dog or anything take special care of your throat for some days.
6) I would ask such patients of mine to use prokinetic like motillium to release stomach blockage sensation when this happens.
END NOTE:
This is nothing to be worried about you had coughing , bronchitis and still have inflammation this can cause small bleed, as your stomach and TB is clear so you don't have to worry about small bleeds they are ok, with time things will heal up from inside.
Its great to know your didn't have COPD.
This bleed issue will also resolve in 3-4 days and everything will be fine.
