Question: Popping, pain, and clicking right side of lower rib cage after a wrestling move...broken rib? Diaphragm issues?

Hi,

From what you are describing, it seems to be related to broken rib. I advise to run to ER if pain is unbearable and/or if you notice anything unusual.

Pleura and diaphragm are suspected to get involved. Physical examination and chest X-ray, lateral position are advised to run first before going for more specific tests.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- avoid body movements, especially those involving the right side
- take acetaminophen/ibuprofen or other pain killers to reduce pain
