Brief Answer:
Nails grow at 1mm for 10 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In a healthy individual on an average the finger nails grow at 1mm for 10 days. Though the grwoth differs from finger nails to toe nails and middle finger grows quicker than other finger nails.
Your calcium intake is good and I think you should continue it.
You should consider check other minerals like Iron, Selenium, Magnesium levels in the blood.
Splitting of the nails is mainly Biotin and Iron level. Eat foods rich in these.
I suggest to apply moisturizers which have Lanolin /Petroleum oil that hydrates the nails. YOur age is a big negative factor that dries the nails.

Let me know if you have any questions.
