Please upload the lab reports for better answer

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Welcome to HCM. Thanks for posting the question.

Please share with us few more details.

Why did you undergo gastric band? Is it for weight reduction or as a part of treatment of gastric reflux?

How long you are having under active thyroid? The dose of Eltroxin? What is the latest thyroid function report?

How low is your iron level? How is your hemoglobin?

What are your current symptoms? By feeing un well - do you mean you are excessively tired?

Please upload your lab reports.

Anaemia due to low iron levels and hypothyroidism if not properly treated can lead to un wanted symptoms of tiredness, stomach problems, etc. We should know whether these disorders are treated well. Once treated the thyroid function tests should be normal and haemoglobin and iron levels should be normalised.

The treatment of iron deficiency depends on iron level and haemoglobin values. Oral iron supplementation or intravenous iron is needed in selected cases

Hope the information was useful to you
