Brief Answer:
Supportive care , needs work up and management.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Bouts of stomach pain relieved by bowel movements in morning with mucusy stools and particles in it for years need a little work up. I would like you to get some baseline work up like stool examination, some blood work and if need be colonoscopy to sort out any inflammatory cause down there.

Functional bowel disorders like irritable bowel syndrome, gastritis, inflammatory bowel disorder are some of the possibilities. Modify diet and lifestyle, eat small frequent meals, use yogurt and peppermint, avoid spices, alcohol, tobacco, soda , beverages and see if it helps. YOu may take some pepto for morning abdominal pains.

Talk to your doctor and let them help you further. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
