Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Tonsils

Question: l have blisters on my tonsils taking 500 mg 125mg for 7 day still have blusters on my tonsils dont know what too do now what the next l sure try too find out why l still have them drainage down my throat thank XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting the query

It would be very helpful if you could mail us the images of the throat.

As per your history, I do presume, you could be having follicular tonsillitis. In many of the conditions, the follicles remain even after the completion of the antibiotic course and the inflammation has completely subsided. Do not worry! That's perfectly normal.

The post nasal drip could be either related to the acid reflux or sinus discharge. The latter clears off with steam inhalation while the former requires proton pump inhibitors.

Drink plenty of warm water; avoid fizzy drinks/coffee/chilled food and beverages.
