Suggest treatment for bleeding in mouth after using tongue cleaner

Question: Hi,

Today when i started to clean my mouth with tongue cleaner i good blood from mouth i.e where we will have fluid of saliva when we get cold.

Can you please help is there any danger

First of all relax . It is not a major problem .

It can happen due to trauma to your throat while cleaning or Throat infection or ulcer in the throat or problems in upper part of nose or problems in gums.

I need more information to make a better diagnosis.

1. Was this a one time event or is it recurring ?
2. Is there any active bleeding now?
3. Do you have any pain or soreness in throat?
4. Do you have any pain or difficulty in swallowing ?
5. Do you have any cough?
6. Any bleeding from Nose?

Kindly revert back with the details asked.

Yes Today is first time.

2. Is there any active bleeding now?

No It is not happening again.

3. Do you have any pain or soreness in throat?

After Muscus came with blood i have little sore XXXXXXX in throat but no pain .
4. Do you have any pain or difficulty in swallowing ?

No it is normal i am able to swallow normally.
5. Do you have any cough?
No i dont have any cough.
6. Any bleeding from Nose?
No i dnt have any bleeding from my nose.

It could be Throat Infection.

Thanks for the reply.

It seems like either Throat Infection or trauma to throat. I would recommend you do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day , eat soft food and avoid spicy food .

This much is enough , if the soreness persists then you may have to start an Antibiotic for that but I think you can wait for 2 days and observe . But if the bleeding occurs again by itself then you may have to get Throat examination done by a doctor.
