Please see the detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! I have been through your question.

Related your concern I need further information in detail like what kind of symptoms you have, did you have fever and back ache, urine color, urination frequency to define better the diagnosis and to suggest you a treatment.
As well could you tell me if you are allergic to some medications.

Usually the most bladder infections are caused by Escherichia coli and this type of bacteria is naturally present in the large intestines.
You should know that the women have higher risk to get an urinary infection because they have a shorter urethra then men, as well having only 1 kidney is a factor that increase more this risk.

I suggest during this time to drink a lot of cleaner water and natural tea, vitamin C (asorbic acid) and drink as well cranberry juice to increase the acid levels in your urine and prevents bacteria from sticking to the bladder walls.
All these recommendations helps to kill the bacteria and to clean your bladder.
Usually in this situation after I define the diagnosis with a urine test. After confirming diagnosis, I prescribe bactrim tab for 3 days.

I hope my answer helps you. Feel free to ask me further.
Regards.
