Suggest Treatment For Bilateral Ovarian Cysts

default
Posted on Mon, 9 Mar 2015
Question: Hello doctor,
My wife has two bilateral ovarian cysts. They are about 5 cm. one is complex and one is simple.
-Also she has dark pigmentation around the neck since childhood.
-Her prolactin levels are quite high around 60.
- doctors have suggested it could be endometriosis.

Doctors how could you help us to conceive a baby naturally?
The doctor have given her premulut for 3 months to see if the cysts shrink. Another option is removing the cysts by laproscopy which will be done after 3 months. They could do it now but they want to try the medicines first.
What we are doing is first trying to concieve , we will try one time then if not then she will take the premulut dose. I understand premulut makes chances for pregancy even further lower.

Doctor , what can you suggest? We havent really tried to conceive. Just been 2 months that we are tring to concieve. Can you explain me more about all this issues?

Note: my semen was checked and it is fine. Here is attached report.

Brief Answer:
Cysts need to be treated

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I understand your concerns about ovarian cysts.

Your doctor has given right advice. Take the medicines for 3 months and see.

If cysts subside no problem. If not laparoscopy is required to remove cysts.

I understand you wish to conceive. But you need to get these ovarian cysts treated . First let medicines act. If no effect then you can consider option of laparoscopy.

Your semen analysis is normal.
