Posted on Fri, 13 Mar 2015
Question: I have the bicornuate Uterus , I conceived on XXXXXXX 01,2015, on our first trial for baby, since December'2014.
Dt January 30,2014, I lost my baby (6Weeks 2 Days) ( LMP 18 Dec'2014)

I am very much confused , as I am suffering from Iron deficiency anemia and low Haemoglobin.

Please let me know, with all these complications, will I be able to give birth to a healthy baby?

What possible treatment /medications/ surgery, can be done for improving my bicornuate uterus (pls also mention the cost for the treatments)????

Brief Answer:
no active treatment needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, I understand your anxiety related to The health issue.
There is no problem in conception in bicornuate uterus or in iron deficiency anemia but in both these problems there are high chances of abortion and preterm delivery.
Surgery for unification of bicornuate uterus is not usually indicated and is needed only in case of 3 or more mid trimester (14-20 weeks of pregnancy) abortions.
So right now just focus on conception first and then after you conceive take care of following -ake a note of the following points -
- have a good rest with no exertion at all
- avoid intercourse
- take ample amount of water
- take good amount of milk and green leafy vegetables
- almonds and walnuts are very good and should be taken on daily basis
- avoid any kind of stress
- keep taking all the medicines as prescribed daily without a miss.
All the best.

Brief Answer:
can be easily diagnosed

Detailed Answer:
Yes you are right, you have high chance of breech baby position and it can be easily diagnosed on ultrasound examination.
