Brief Answer:
Repetitive stress injury can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to repetitive stress injury of lower back muscles most likely.
If you provide some more informations it will be more helpful.
Is there any pain while urination?
Is the pain radiating to legs or buttocks?
Do you sit for long periods?
Do you lift heavy weights?

For Repetitive stress injury you can do hot fomentations on back with the help of some one. Taking NSAIDs like Ibuprofen and muscle relaxants like Tizanidine will be helpful to stop pain spasm pain vicious cycle. You can also do back muscle strengthening exercises and physiotherapy like massage. Avoid leaning forward and lifting heavy weights.
If there is no improvement then x ray of lumbar spine to rule out disc problems and ultrasound examination to rule out urinary stones- should be done.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up.

In that case you can follow the above mentioned measures. Applying NSAID gels like diclofenac (Volini) after hot fomentations or warm compress is good also. If that is not helping then you can go for X ray of lumbosacral spine and Ultrasound examination to rule out spine problems and urinary stones.
