Brief Answer:
Bleeding disorder
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query.
Please clarify what's 1.5 to 2.5? Is it PT/INR?
It appears that your mother has some blood disease which has been triggered with the steroid shot.
It has nothing to do with taking the injection empty stomach.
She has probably increased bleeding tendency which can cause the bruising and stroke like symptoms.
It is advisable to get a head CT to rule out brain bleeding.
Blood tests like Bleeding time, Clotting time, PT/INR are important.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
